Ba town ready for big crowd as Drua face Brumbies

TICKETS for the historic Super Rugby Pacific match between the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua and Brumbies will be sold at the 4R Stadium gate tomorrow.

Ba Town Council Special Administrator Moshim Khan said they expect a lot of people from the soccer town of Ba and Fijians travelling from a far.

“The Fijian Drua head coach has described the stadium as a world-class facility,” he said.

“So, we are urging people to come and enjoy the moment.

“There will be food stalls available which can cater for people coming to watch the game tomorrow.”

Mr Khan anticipated the game to be a thriller for fans and supporters of both teams.

“The game is projected to create an economic growth for Ba town.

“We do not have a lot of hotels at the moment, only Air BnB accommodations.

“But definitely, hotel projects are on the pipeline and should commence this year.”

The curtain raiser match between the Fijian Drua Development and Ba Rugby is scheduled for 12.30pm while the main game will kick-off at 3.35pm.

VT1S artist Liz Vamarasi will be entertaining the crowd at half-time.
