RATU Paula Vonolagi of House Yellow blitzed the HFC Bank Stadium yesterday, clocking a manual time of 10.78 seconds to claim the Suva Grammar School senior boys’ blue-ribbon event.

With the inter-house blue ribbon title secured, the Tailevu native is already setting his sights on the Fiji Finals.

Vonolagi hopes to finish his high school career on a high note by capturing the prestigious title.

“This is my last year in Grammar, and I just want to appreciate everything they have done for me.”

“I’m looking forward to the Coca-Cola Games, especially the competition from the Tailevu zone and the West.”

Last year, Vonolagi settled for bronze in the senior boys’ 100 metres final at the Coke Games but later anchored his senior boys’ 4×100 team to a famous victory, denying Marist Brothers High School, Ratu Kadavulevu School, and Queen Victoria School the gold medal.

In the senior girls’ 100 metres, Lisa Cakaubulisova of Blue House claimed gold with a manual time of 13.60 seconds.
