RUGBY fans in Ba will have the opportunity to meet their favourite players from the SWIRE Shipping Fijian Drua next week.

The team will hold an open training session at Govind Park, giving supporters a chance to watch the players train and interact with them.

Head of Commercial and Marketing for the Fijian Drua Shane Hussein, confirmed that the open session will be held on Tuesday at the 4R Stadium at Govind Park.

“Open training will be in session in Ba on Tuesday. Training will run from 12pm to 1pm, followed by a meet and greet session with fans from 1pm to 1.30pm.

“This is a great chance for students, fans, and everyone who might be available during their lunch break to enjoy the open training session and meet the players straight after.

“Fans have a good 30 minutes to meet their favourite Drua players straight afterwards.

“Our sponsors will be at the training as well for activations and giveaways, and our ticketing team will also be available for ticket sales.

“All players are looking forward to meeting our fans on Tuesday and of course, after the game on Saturday.”

The session is part of the team’s preparations for their upcoming clash against the ACT Brumbies, which will be played in Ba next Saturday.

Fans are encouraged to come along, watch the team train and show their support as the Drua prepare for another important Super Rugby Pacific match.
