ROSIE Holiday’s Eroni Bole is a familiar face in Fiji’s tourism industry.

With his Fijian ‘buiniga’ and infectious smile, Mr Bole epitomises Fiji’s Bula spirit and this very essence was celebrated at the 2025 ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards when he was awarded the 2025 Cultural Tourism Champion.

Mr Bole said he was honoured to be recognised for the work he was proud to do on a daily basis.

“It is a great honour to be acknowledged,” he said.

“This is something that we do everyday.

“We understand that tourism is the biggest industry that supports every being that we have and I never take that for granted.

“I did not think that our work would be acknowledged like this, so we are very grateful and honoured.”

He said Fiji’s culture and heritage was what attracted the world to our shores.

“Our culture is what brings Fijians to the world, and it is what brings the world to Fiji.

“I am very proud to be acknowledged as a champion for our culture.”

Mr Bole also thanked the people who have supported his journey as a tourism frontliner.

“First of all, I want to thank God for His blessing and the talent of Fijian hospitality because that is from above.

“Second, I want to thank the Rosie family led by Tony Whitton and Brigid, our General Manager Eroni Puamau, our Director of Operations Sunil Kumar and the other teams that we have for groups and events and everyone that has been part of our journey.

“I stand very proudly on behalf of every frontliner that represents Fiji to the world.

“That is from the airline to the airport staff and to the hotels.

“The tour and inbound operators like you, we are all a representative of this great industry.

“This is a great blessing that we have been blessed with and I am truly honoured to be part of it.”
