The Fiji Meteorological Service has cancelled a series of heavy rain and flood warnings that were previously in force across parts of the country.
The heavy rain warning for the western half of Viti Levu, the Yasawa and Mamanuca groups, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands has now been lifted.
Authorities have also cancelled the flash flood warning that had been in place for the whole of Viti Levu, along with the flash flood alert for Vanua Levu.
In addition, the flood alert for low-lying and flood-prone areas adjacent to and downstream of the Nakauvadra, Yaqara, Tavua, Ba, Nadi and Nawaka rivers has been cancelled.
Despite the easing of conditions, the Weather Office says cloudy periods with some showers are still expected over the western half of Viti Levu, the Yasawa and Mamanuca groups, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, as well as the Southern Lau Group.
Elsewhere, cloudy periods with brief showers are forecast.
Members of the public are advised to continue monitoring official weather updates as conditions continue to stabilise.
