Discussions surrounding possible immunity for the 16 accused charged in relation to the 2.6-tonne drug seizure at Vatia Wharf in Tavua were disclosed today in the Ba High Court.
Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions John Rabuku informed the court that opportunities were available for the accused persons.
He said defence lawyers should advise the prosecution on their clients’ positions regarding those options.
The substantive matter has been adjourned to March 20.
