THE Government remains committed to identifying and proactively responding to gaps within the national health system, says Health Minister Dr Ratu Atonio Lalabalavu.

Speaking during the dual commissioning of a new pharmacy facility and a refurbished medical boat in the Western Division this week, Dr Lalabalavu said these initiatives reflected a broader vision of resilience and adaptability.

He highlighted the importance of logistics and infrastructure in ensuring that healthcare services were delivered with dignity and efficiency.

“We will continue to identify gaps, as we do all, and respond proactively and invest strategically in strengthening our infrastructure, our logistics, and our services in the West.”

Dr Lalabalavu assured members of the public that the Government is working to ensure their specific healthcare needs are met through strategic investments.

“These two initiatives, the pharmacy and the newly-refurbished medical board, reflect a broader vision — the vision of resilience and the vision of adaptability and the vision of a health system that serves everything to its dignity and efficiency.”
