YARO Chiefs captain Wame Ratuva and winger Tomasi Stark have been called in to join the Fiji Airways Fiji men’s 7s team camp as preparations continue for the next HSBC SVNS stop in Vancouver, Canada.

The club, Yaro Rugby, confirmed their call up in an announcement on their social media page.

Ratuva who captained Yaro Chiefs to their historic Coral Coast Fiji 7s win in January, has been a revelation for the club since making his debut at the Turnbull 7s tournament in October last year.

He was awarded the best player of the final at the Coral Coast Fiji 7s.

24-year-old speedster Stark who debuted for Yaro Chiefs at the 2024 Vatukoula 7s, showed his potential at the Coral Coast Fiji 7s where he was awarded the Jonah Lomu medal, having scored the highest number of tries.

Their call up marks another significant milestone for the Yaro Rugby club and a new chapter is their rugby career.

Ratuva hails from Vunavutu in Nadroga while Stark is from Nasoqo, Naviti in Yasawa.
