EVERYTHING will be on the line for Labasa FC in the second leg and potentially deciding game against Rewa FC for the Pillay Garments Champions Versus Champions series.
After losing the first match 1-0 Labasa coach Alvin Chand has described the second leg of the series as a must win battle for the team.
He adds that anything less than their best performance would jeopardise their chances of wining the title.
Chand admits pressure is now on the team to win the return fixture after the narrow loss in the opening leg.
“The result of the first leg has made it very clear. The second leg is a baptism of fire for our team. The boys know that an unfavourable outcome will let the CVC title slip from our hand,” he said.
Defence and execution will be key areas Labasa need to perfect before hosting Rewa, in their first match the team missed several opportunities at the box costing them the match.
This weekend they will need to capitalise on every opportunity if they are to stay in the hunt for the CVC title.
Labasa will host Rewa this Saturday at Subrails Park in the second leg of the CVC series.
