OFFICERS from the Fiji Navy, Water Police Unit and Fiji Revenue and Customs Service graduated last week after successfully completing their Boat Master Licence (BML) and Restricted Master Engineer Licence Class 6 (RMEL6) training.
Chief guest Minister for Defence Pio Tikoduadua acknowledged the support of UK International Development and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), stating that maritime security remains a national priority for Fiji. Also present was Lieutenant Colonel Sophie Waters from United Kingdom who highlighted the value of international cooperation in strengthening maritime capabilities.
The training and graduation were held at the Stanley Brown Naval Base in Lami
