THE Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre at the High Commission of India in Suva hosted an Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) Alumni meet reception last Friday at the Suva Civic Centre, bringing together ICCR alumni from across Fiji.

The gathering provided an opportunity for former scholarship recipients who had studied in India to reconnect and reflect on their academic and cultural experiences.

The alumni shared insights into how their education and exposure in India had contributed to their professional journeys and strengthened their understanding of India’s rich cultural heritage.

The event also underscored the enduring people-to-people ties between India and Fiji, with the ICCR scholarship program recognised as a key pillar in fostering mutual understanding and cooperation between the two nations.
