THE Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team is determined to convert their strong performances into victories as they gear up to compete in the Perth 7s tournament today.

Coach Richard Walker believes that the key to success for his team lies in finishing on the right side of the scoreboard.

He acknowledges that there are areas that need improvement but is confident that they can turn their performances into wins.

Walker is satisfied with how the team has been playing, especially after their recent outings in Dubai and Cape Town.

He commended the players for their efforts and sees potential for further growth and development.

“After going back and having a look at games on film, reviewing a few things, I actually thought the girls played some really, really good rugby, which is good to see,” said Walker.

He believes that the team’s attack and structure showed promising signs that should be built upon.

“Obviously, in a couple of games, the score didn’t go our way, so you could feel differently about how you feel with the team. But going back and having a look, man, we played some really good rugby.”

With a clearer understanding of their strengths and areas for improvement, Fijiana is now aiming to translate their strong passages of play into consistent victories in the upcoming tournament.
