TITILIA Latui’s 88th-minute goal powered Lautoka Women’s FC to a dramatic 1–0 victory over Nasinu Women’s FC, securing their promotion to the Fiji Football Associations (FFA) Women’s Super League 2026.

The tightly contested playoff, held at the FFA Academy ground in Vatuwaqa, saw both teams locked in a disciplined battle for most of the match until Latui’s late strike broke the deadlock, sparking celebrations among the Lautoka camp.

The match was a showcase of determination and resilience, with Nasinu defending strongly and Lautoka patiently pressing for the winning goal.

This victory marks a historic moment for Lautoka Women’s FC, who will replace Tailevu Naitasiri Women’s FC in the premier division this season.

Lautoka’s squad is notably young, with an average age of just 17 years.

The team is managed by Madam Riya and coached by Rohitesh Naicker, operating under the leadership of Lautoka Football Association President Shalendra Prasad.

Lautoka earned their spot in the promotion playoff by dominating the Western Zone of the 2025 FFA Women’s Senior League with a perfect record.

They finished top of their zone by winning all six matches, scoring 26 goals and conceding only two, finishing with 18 points.

Their playoff opponents, Nasinu Women’s FC, were also undefeated at the Southern Zone, setting the stage for this decisive encounter.
