The Fiji Airways Fiji men’s 7s side is through to the final of the 2026 Singapore 7s after a hard earned 21-14 win over New Zealand in the semi-final.
New Zealand raced away to an early 14-nil lead while George Bose was sent to the bin.
With six players on the field, Fiji scored two tries to level the scores 14-14 at halftime.
Joseva Talacolo and Viwa Naduvalo scored first half tries to Fiji.
The Osea Kolinisau coached side showed patience and were rewarded when Naduvalo crossed over for his second try and give Fiji the lead.
Fiji took strong in the last few minutes and protected their lead to gain a spot in the final.
Fiji will play France in the final at 11.41pm.
France beat South Africa 12-5 in the second semi-final.
