FANS interest is steadily building for the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua’s first home match of the season against Moana Pasifika on February 14 at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

Fijian Drua general manager commercial Shane Hussein said the Valentine’s Day clash was shaping up to be an exciting Battle of the Pacific, with two fierce rivals set to go head to head at the Drua’s fortress.

“Fan interest in the Drua vs Moana game on February 14, Valentine’s Day, is steadily increasing.”

Hussein said Churchill Park held a proud record for the Drua, and the team is looking forward to opening their home campaign in front of their loyal supporters.

He also revealed an added bonus for fans, with those who purchase tickets for the Drua versus Moana Pasifika match receiving a free ticket of the same category to watch the Drua take on Skipper Select XV on February 6, also in Lautoka.

Hussein encouraged fans to take advantage of the offer, saying it provides great value and an exciting opportunity to watch the Drua in back-to-back matches at Churchill Park.

“Its also an exciting opportunity for fans who purchase the Drua vs Moana match ticket.

They will get the same category ticket for the Drua vs Skipper Select XV in Lautoka completely free of charge.

“I encourage fans to grab the tickets for the Drua vs Moana game and get the Drua vs Skipper Select completely free of charge,” Hussein added. The Skipper Select XV match on February 6 will serve as an important build-up fixture ahead of the Drua’s Super Rugby Pacific campaign, while the February 14 clash against Moana Pasifika will mark their first home game of the season.
