THE Fijian Drua is thrilled to announce a series of exciting curtain raisers featuring the Drua Development at the first three home matches of the 2026 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season.
Fans attending the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua’s matches against Moana Pasifika February 14, Hurricanes February 28, and Brumbies March 14 will have the added bonus of witnessing the Drua Development team in action against Australian Fijians, Malolo, and Ba in the curtain raiser fixtures.
These curtain raisers offer great value for fans as they will be treated to two matches for the price of one! The Drua Development squad will feature the club’s emerging talent and wider squad members.
Speaking on the significance of these matches, Fijian Drua Development Coach Nemani Nadolo-Kuridrani expressed the importance of providing game time for the squad to gain valuable match exposure.
Competing against strong opposition in these three qualities matches will help the younger players build experience and develop their skills.
“The fixtures present a valuable opportunity for the Development Squad to gain much-needed match exposure. Securing game time for the squad is a priority and three quality matches lined up against strong opposition will help our younger players build experience,” said Nadolo.
“Fans are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy a full day of rugby, starting with the curtain raisers at 12.30pm before the main Super Rugby Pacific matches kick off at 3.30pm.
