THE Loloma Heights Rugby Club came close to a clean sweep at the 2026 Agromarketing Grassroots 7s, winning two of the three finals.
The Urata, Savusavu-based club fielded a team in each category of the tournament. All three teams reached the finals, but the women’s side narrowly lost to a determined Sinukakala Amazons side, 14-7.
In the U21 final, the young Loloma Heights side delivered a clinical performance, dismantling St. Teresa Nakuabalavu 19-0 and securing the $7,000 prize money.
In the men’s cup final, the Loloma Heights senior team dominated Nagadoa 24-7. As men’s champions, the team took home the $5,000 prize money.
The successful tournament was marked with the presence of the assistant minister for itaukei affairs Ratu Isikeli Tuiwailevu.
