SENIOR Pastor of Mt Zion Cathedral, Reverend Jeremaia Radrodro, has reminded the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua that 2026 will be a year of unprecedented achievement for the team.
Speaking during the official welcome of new CEO Jeff Miller at the Drua base, Rev Radrodro encouraged the players to focus on God and remain undistracted by negativity.
He drew inspiration from the biblical story of David and Goliath, reminding the players that even seemingly impossible challenges can be overcome with faith and courage.
“Resist the temptation to listen to negative words and Drua will reach the height you have never reached before this season.
“Always be wearing your full armour of God every time you fight on the field to win games,” he said.
After delivering the word, Rev Radrodro prayed over the team.
The pastor urged the players to carry God’s guidance and strength into every match, reminding them that true victory comes from faith, perseverance, and unity.
