TICKET prices for the highly anticipated historic ‘Battle of Fiji’ clash between the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua and the Skipper XV Select on Friday, February 6 competing for the Sun Bell Trophy, have been announced by the organisers.
Tickets are priced at a flat rate of $5 per person for the grass embankment, $10 for the Timber, Southwest, and Waitui Stands, with a limited number of Platinum Stand tickets available at $15 per person.
To further incentivise fans, organisers have introduced a rare two-for-one offer.
Supporters who purchase tickets for the Fijian Drua versus Moana Pasifika season opener on February 14, 2026 at Churchill Park will receive tickets in the same category for the Battle of Fiji completely free of charge.
Fijian Drua general manager commercial, Shane Hussein, said that due to the overwhelming interest in the Battle of Fiji game, ticket prices have been kept affordable for fans of both teams.
“It’s set to be a Fiji rugby fan’s dream – the chance to watch their favourite Drua and provincial players bring intensity, flair, and excitement on 6 February in Lautoka,” he said.
Fijian Drua co-captain Temo Mayanavanua anticipates a tough encounter against the Skipper Cup select side, who are eager to prove themselves against one of the Pacific’s leading rugby franchises.
“I’ve heard they’ve been preparing really well, and I’m sure it’s going to be a fierce contest. They’ll be young, ambitious, talented, and hungry players vying for places in the Skipper Cup. My message to the fans is to come and witness massive hits, stylish offloads, and Fijian flair at its finest in Lautoka – it’s going to be fantastic,” he said.
The Skipper XV Select team is composed of the best local talent from Fiji’s premier provincial competition, the Skipper Cup.
It will be held at Churchill Park, Lautoka.
