EAGER to help support her family, Akanisi Kotoisuva is one of the many food vendors helping play an important part in the 2026 McDonald’s Coral Coast Fiji 7s, which ends today at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.

Kotoisuva was selling roti parcels, barbecue, watermelons and bottled juice when Times Sport caught up with her next to the entrance of the park.

She says she was happy to sell her wares to help support her family and make sufficient income that would go towards supporting them in catering to their needs.

Kotoisuva is from Komo island in Lau and now calls the province of Nadroga home after being married to her husband, who hails from Draubuta, in the district of Noikoro.

”We are happy that this helped in elevating our livelihoods by being part of the Coral Coast 7s and we are able to fulfil the aims we have set as a family,” Kotoisuva said.

Sales from the items put on sale have been successful at the time, with Kotoisuva stating they had made around $300 at the end of the first day.

She was one of many food vendors spread out around Lawaqa Park over the past two days, with many vendors selling an assortment of items similar to hers, and with today being the final day of the Coral Coast 7s, sales are expected to be much more than the previous two days.
