Christmas away from the hustle and bustle of city life was the best experience for urban residents who travelled to Nukunuku Village, Lakeba in Lau for the festive season.
According to Maca Lualala, their families enjoyed the one month break which included fishing, swimming and other fun activities.
She said time in the village provided an opportunity for the urban children to learn and appreciate the challenges their families faced in Lakeba.
