Suparmarket chain Shop N Save has renewed its partnership with the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua for the next three seasons of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific competition.

The renewal was officiated at the Matua Room of the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva earlier this afternoon.

The signing of the partnership’s renewal was made by the chief executive of the Fijian Drua, Jeff Miller, Shop N Save Supermarket CEO Nisheel Kisun, Fijian Drua’s general manager commercial Shane Hussein and witnessed by lawyer Elenoa Leweni.

Miller said the club’s presence in Suva yesterday was a reflection of the high regard held by the club towards the partnership.

“We could not do this without the support of companies like Shop N Save, it’s important for the Drua and our performances that we’ve got the support of companies like this.”

Kisun shared similar sentiments and remarked how the Fijian Drua symbolised key qualities uniting communities in the nation and beyond.

“Since the inception of the partnership, we have witnessed the Drua grow into a formidable force within the Super Rugby Pacific competition, whilst inspiring young athletes and fans at every level,” Kisun told the media.

Meanwhile, the new season of the Super Rugby Pacific competition starts on Saturday, February 14 with round one.

On the day, the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will face Moana Pasifika at Churchill Park in Lautoka, kicking off at 3.30pm.
