HAVING dedication, vision and courage will certainly pay off handsomely for young development players of the Fijian Drua if they commit to it. This, according to its development coach, Nemani Nadolo-Kuridrani.

Nadolo-Kuridrani was asked by Times Sport on how those three values, which he had notably mentioned in a different yet humorous context last season, were essential to their growth. “It’s really good. I think it’s really important,” he affirmed.

“Dedication; you have got to keep reminding these boys that when there’s a lot of people that want to be in this position, there’s a lot of boys that want to play.”

He added having a vision was always a paramount aim and that commitment would translate into ensuring players were operating with a fixed mind set capable of achieving objectives and producing results.

In relaying how vital the three qualities would be, he voiced his enthusiasm in taking up the role of a coach.

“I’m pretty excited about this role as development coach because you get them young and get them raw,” he mentioned.

In ensuring these players achieve the development goals set, he says he’s not looking elsewhere but within. “I’m not leaning to anyone overseas; I’m leaning to our people that we have in this office.
