Six arrested in Nadawa for allegedly selling liquor without a license

Six people were taken into custody early Sunday morning after police allegedly discovered they were selling liquor without a license in Nadawa.

The Fiji Police Force confirmed that the arrests followed a raid conducted by the Southern Division Taskforce at a shop where officers seized assorted alcoholic beverages believed to have been sold illegally.

The suspects remain in custody as investigations continue.

The Fiji Police Force has also advised the public to directly contact Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, ACP Kasiano Vusonilawe, on 9904 905 to report any suspected illegal liquor trade.
