STADE Français Fijian winger Peniasi Dakuwaqa has signed a two-year contract extension with the Paris-based club.

Known for his explosive speed, the Fijian earned the nickname “The Flash” in the Top 14 competition.

The 29-year-old initially joined Stade Français in 2022 as a medical joker and has since made headlines and highlight reels with his dynamic, aggressive, and elusive rugby skills.

Dakuwaqa shared the news with fans and followers in a video posted on the Stade Français rugby team’s Facebook page.

“Hi, it’s Peni. I’ve got news for you guys, I’m signing on for another two years. I love Paris and I love the supporters, thank you guys for supporting the team. Allez Paris,” he said.

His signing follows a series of impressive and consistent performances as the incumbent right winger for the Paris side. In 2024, his length-of-the-field try against Racing 92 was named try of the season, highlighting the attacking prowess of the Nagado, Nadi villager, and his game-breaking abilities.

That same year, he made his debut for the Flying Fijians against Georgia, scoring a double in their 21-12 victory.
