Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa commemorated the festive season with a series of celebrations and community initiatives designed to spread joy, connection and the true spirit of hospitality throughout the month of December.
Its annual Festive Tree Lighting Ceremony took place on Sunday November 30, marking the beginning of this year’s holiday celebrations.
Team members and guests gathered together for a magical evening filled with Christmas carols performed by the award winning Hilton Fiji Team Choir, the sharing of eggnog, cookies and festive treats, and a special appearance by Santa Claus to delight families and children, it said in a statement.
The resort launched a Christmas Stationery Drive, where staff collected school bags, notebooks, colouring supplies, paints, games and essential school materials and donations were made by team members who came together to support children and families in preparation for the new year.
The resort also hosted a special Festive Luncheon for children, carers and teachers from Nadi Special School, as well as residents from Golden Age Home and Loloma Home.
Guests were welcomed with heartfelt hospitality and treated to a delicious buffet lunch prepared by Hilton Fiji’s culinary team and served by team members, many of whom volunteered their time — including on their days off — to ensure the day was memorable.
“Sharing the light and warmth of hospitality is at the heart of everything we do,” Hilton’s Cluster general manager, Fiji Islands Carey Osborne said.
“Christmas is a time for giving, caring, and coming together, and we are incredibly proud of our team members who continue to go above and beyond to support and uplift our community.
“From festive celebrations with our guests to meaningful outreach with local schools and homes, these moments truly reflect the spirit of Hilton and the values we live every day,” Ms Osborne said.
Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa will continue its festive programming throughout December, inviting guests and the local community to experience the magic of the season with warmth, generosity, and the true spirit of Fijian hospitality.
