Bula FC has made a significant move ahead of the new OFC Pro League season by signing two overseas-based players, winger Kaile Auvray and midfielder Yuta Konagaya, to bolster their ranks.
Kaile Auvray, a dynamic wide attacker with extensive international experience, brings a wealth of knowledge and pace to the team.
Born in France and raised in the United States, Auvray began playing football at the age of five and developed his skills through elite academies including LOSC Lille in France and Sporting Kansas City in the US.
His professional career has taken him across the Americas and the Caribbean, notably enjoying success with Cavaliers SC in Jamaica, where he won the Jamaica Premier League, lifted the Caribbean Cup, and competed in the CONCACAF Champions Cup, featuring in a high-profile match against Inter Miami.
He also gained valuable top-tier experience with Major League Soccer’s Columbus Crew.
Internationally, Auvray has represented France at under-17 level, the United States at under-16, and most recently, Trinidad and Tobago’s senior national team.
His international appearances include the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup, and the 2024 Copa América playoffs, working under the guidance of former Manchester United striker and Trinidad and Tobago coach Dwight Yorke.
On joining Bula FC, Auvray expressed his excitement:
“I am very happy to be joining the club and am looking forward to playing in front of the supporters in the OFC Pro League. I am excited for the opportunity and ready to give everything for the badge.”
Joining Auvray is Japanese midfielder Yuta Konagaya, who began his football journey at the age of six in Japan. Over the years, Yuta has built a consistent and steady career across Australia and Europe.
