Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has paid tribute to the late Permanent Secretary for Health and Medical Services, Dr Jemesa Tudravu, describing him as a dedicated public servant whose leadership helped shape Fiji’s health sector.
“On behalf of the Cabinet and the Government of Fiji, I extend our deepest and most profound condolences on the passing of Dr Jemesa Tudravu,” the Prime Minister said.
He said the nation had lost “a dedicated, hardworking, and committed medical doctor and public health leader,” noting that Dr Tudravu would be remembered for his quiet strength, humility and respectful demeanor.
“He preferred to lead through action rather than words. His service and contribution to the health and wellbeing of our people will not be forgotten,” Mr Rabuka said.
The Prime Minister offered prayers for the Tudravu family, saying he hoped they would find comfort in God’s mercy and strength.
“May they be surrounded by peace, love, and the assurance that Dr Tudravu’s legacy of service will continue to inspire us all,” he said.
“Ni qa gole ena va’acegu ni noda Turaga, Vuniwai.”
