Fiji Rugby Union CEO Koli Sewabu does not wish to comment further on the more than $21k loss incurred during the Pacific Nations Cup clash between the Flying Fijians and Tonga.

This loss was brought to light when Times Sport received the Skipper Cup final payment reconciliation document issued by the Fiji Sports Council to the FRU.

When asked to provide clarification on the loss, Sewabu said, “No further comments.”

“A lot has been discussed during our General Assembly and we’ve considered all matters raised from our member unions.

“Reviews are ongoing and we will be preparing for our first initial rounds of consultations in January,” he said.

The date for the first round of consultation is yet to be confirmed.

“Time to move on and focus on 2026,” the CEO added.
