Radisson Blu Resort Fiji Continues Annual Christmas Visits to Traditional Chiefs

RADISSON Blu Resort Fiji undertook its annual Christmas visits to local traditional chiefs, conveying appreciation, festive greetings, and best wishes for a joyous Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

In a statement Radisson Blu Resort Fiji said the delegation was led by general manager Charles Homsy, accompanied by members of the resort’s executive team.

The resort said this was part of its ongoing commitment to community engagement.

“During the visits, the delegation presented traditional gifts of food as a gesture of gratitude and respect, acknowledging the support of the Vanua and the surrounding communities whose people are engaged in employment at the resort,” a statement from the resort said.

Speaking during the visits, Mr Homsy expressed the resort’s sincere appreciation to the Chiefs and their people for their continued support and partnership.

He highlighted the importance of these relationships, noting that the success of Radisson Blu Resort Fiji is closely connected to the strength, culture, and values of the Vanua.

“The Chiefs visited as part of this annual tradition included Na Momo Na Tui Nadi, Ratu Vuniani Dawai, Na Momo Na Tui Nawaka, Ratu Joeli Bulu Derenalagi, Na Momo Levu na Tui Sabeto, Ratu Viliame Mataitoga and Na Momo na Tui Vuda, Ratu Eparama Kitione Tavaiqia,” the resort added.

“Through its Responsible Business Division, Radisson Blu Resort Fiji remains actively engaged with local communities across a range of initiatives focused on education, health, sports, and social development. These programs are designed to promote healthy, resilient, and prosperous communities, reinforcing the resort’s long-term commitment to sustainable and inclusive growth.”
