A video circulating on social media shows a family raising the alarm and chasing away suspected robbers from their property in Tacirua earlier this morning.
Police have confirmed that the Southern Division Taskforce has been deployed to arrest the suspects involved in the attempted robbery.
Following the report, Police traced the vehicle used in the incident to its registered owner.
Further investigations revealed that the vehicle had been issued as a replacement for a rental car hired by a 33-year-old man residing in Tacirua.
The vehicle owner has since been questioned by Police.
The Southern Division Taskforce is now actively searching for the two suspects linked to the attempted robbery.
Police investigations are ongoing.
