BULA FC has made two new signings ahead of the inaugural OFC Professional League next month.

The duo are New Zealand player Adam Supyk and national defender Filipe Baravilala.

Supyk, is the 21st player to sign on to Fiji’s first professional football club following defender Filipe Baravilala recently.

At 21-years-old, he has acquired a solid form of experience in the game from New Zealand football and a distinctive stint in youth and international football.

He ascended to elite-level football through development pathways in teams such as Waimak United, Nomads United, Lower Hutt City, the Wellington Phoenix Reserves and the Wellington Olympic.

With a proven record at club level, his international representation of New Zealand has seen him play in its under-19, 20, and 23 teams, recording a total of 22 appearances at junior level.

In a statement released by Bula FC, Supyk expressed his eagerness to run on in the club’s jersey.

“I’m really excited to be here and grateful for the opportunity to join Bula FC,” Supyk said.

“The lads have been working hard thus far and I’m looking forward to meeting the supporters and doing what I can to help the team achieve its goals.”

Meanwhile, Baravilala is the club’s 20th signing, and he mentioned how grateful he was for the signing.

“I thank God Almighty for the talent, strength and opportunities. I’m proud of what I’ve achieved over the years and I hope to do more with Bula FC,” Baravilala said.

He was also part of the national U23 team that qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympics.

His gratitude in earning a signing for the club also extended to his loved ones.

“I also want to thank my family, especially my partner, for all the sacrifices she’s made and the constant support she’s given me throughout my journey.

“Her belief in me has been everything, and I’m so grateful.”
