Police have arrested a 23-year-old man from Raiwai in connection with an aggravated robbery reported in Raiwaqa earlier this morning.
According to police, the suspect, along with two other men, is alleged to have assaulted and robbed a man outside the Milverton Road Top Shop.
The victim was reportedly waiting for a bus when he was attacked and robbed of his watch and $9 in cash.
The incident was reported to police, prompting the formation of a team to search for the suspects.
The 23-year-old was later arrested on Nairai Road and is currently being questioned at the Raiwaqa Police Station.
Police say the search continues for the remaining accomplices, and investigations into the matter are ongoing.
