Defending champions Northpole FC of Labasa have booked their place in the final of the Dayal’s Sawmillers National Club Championship, where they will face Ba’s 4R FC later today.

Northpole secured their spot following a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Rewa’s combined side, Verata FC, in their last pool match yesterday.

The defending champions were tested throughout the match but showed their experience and composure when it mattered most.

Goals from Ilisoni Lolaivalu and Ratu Apenisa Anare proved decisive, allowing Northpole to maintain their title defence and advance to the championship decider.

In the other match played earlier yesterday, Ba’s 4R FC edged past Suva’s Combine FC with a narrow 2–1 win.

The match carried high stakes, as 4R FC only required a draw to progress, while Combine FC needed an outright victory to keep their hopes alive.

Despite Combine’s determined effort, 4R FC managed to do enough to secure all three points and seal their place in the final.

The highly anticipated final between Northpole FC and 4R FC will kick off at 1pm today at the Fiji Football Association Academy Ground in Vatuwaqa, Suva.
