Teenager killed in Naqali village attack, suspect in custody

A 16-year-old girl has died after she was allegedly attacked by a 43-year-old man in Naqali Village yesterday.

Police say the suspect, who is believed to be of unsound mind, allegedly struck the teenager with a cane knife, inflicting severe injuries that led to her death.

The victim was returning from a nearby shop when she was chased and attacked.

The suspect was arrested shortly after the incident and remains in police custody as investigations continue.
