A court clerk in Lautoka,who allegedly stole more than $49,000 from the High Court in Lautoka, will reappear in court today for his bail ruling.
Ritnesh Kumar, 35, appeared in court yesterday before Magistrate Semi Babitu.
He is charged with one count of conspiracy in a burglary theft incident that took place last Monday.
Mr Kumar was represented by Mohammed Yunus while the prosecuting officer was Sergeant Mereisi Seavula.
The prosecution is alleging that the accused stole money which included foreign currency. Mr Kumar is being remanded in custody.
