INTERCONTINENTAL Fiji Golf Resort & Spa has been named Fiji’s Best MICE Hotel 2025 at the World MICE Awards, its fifth win following awards in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2024. The repeated recognition highlights the resort’s role in redefining how organisations come together in Fiji, by offering spaces that encourage clarity, connection and a deeper sense of purpose, it said in a statement.
“We are honoured by this recognition and grateful for the trust placed in us by the organisations who choose to gather here,” regional general manager, Fiji and Pacific, IHG Hotels & Resorts Lachlan Walker said.
“Over the past years we have had the privilege of hosting many significant regional and international events, and the feedback from planners and delegates has consistently reinforced the strength of our team and the environment we create.
“Every experience is shaped by colleagues who bring care, professionalism and genuine warmth to their work, and I am very proud of what they continue to achieve.”
The resort’s Watercourt meeting facility, “a purpose-designed precinct dedicated to hosting groups in a setting that feels calm, open and distinctly Fijian” is as the heart of its offering, it added.
“Surrounded by reflection pools, native landscaping and architectural symmetry, the Watercourt provides a sense of stillness that supports focused conversation and collaboration.
“Its meeting rooms, transitional spaces and outdoor areas allow groups to gather without the constraints of traditional enclosed venues, creating an experience that feels light, spacious and connected to the environment.”
With cultural depth also shaping the experience, InterContinnental integrates Fijian traditions, culinary craft and moments of welcome into group programmes, giving gatherings a meaningful sense of place.
“The warmth of Fijian hospitality plays a central role, creating conditions where people engage openly and with genuine connection.”
