The Victor Clarke Bowling tournament, proudly sponsored by BRED Bank, rolled into the Sugar City yesterday and will conclude today at the FSC Lautoka Bowling Club.

This year’s event is set to be historic, with a record turnout of more than 50 bowlers across the men’s and ladies’ divisions the largest participation in the tournament’s history.

Club secretary Kaushik Maharaj said the overwhelming response reflects the sport’s growing popularity.

“The response has been phenomenal. To see so many bowlers, both seasoned players and newcomers, eager to compete is a testament to the growing strength of our bowling community.

“The Victor Clarke tournament has always been special, but this year it feels bigger, brighter, and more competitive than ever,” he said.

With BRED Bank’s support, the tournament will highlight top-class competition while celebrating camaraderie, sportsmanship, and the city’s proud bowling tradition.
