PAY television platform Sky Pacific has secured the exclusive television rights to broadcast all matches in the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific competition for the 2026-2028 seasons.

This means that all matches will be aired to viewers in Fiji and across the Pacific region.

The Fijian Drua made the announcement yesterday at the Tanoa Plaza in Suva, on behalf of the competition rights holders.

Under the Pay TV partnership, Sky Pacific will air all 83 Super Rugby Pacific matches live on its television platform to its subscribers.

The total number of matches includes all 77 round-robin matches, three qualifying finals, two semi-finals and the grand final.

Fijian Drua CEO Mark Evans in acknowledging what he said was “great news”, mentioned how the platform’s proven track record spoke for itself.

“We’re delighted to be renewing with them, they’re a terrific company to work with,” Evans told reporters.

“They genuinely have a track record of believing in and supporting the sport in this part of the world.

“And as I said, we are super stoked to be back alongside Sky Pacific.”

The pay TV service is run by telecommunications company Digicel Fiji, and its chief executive Farid Mohammed highlighted how Super Rugby Pacific had been a defining part of its service over the years.

“This renewal marks another milestone in Digicel’s history, as well as Sky Pacific, as we secured the second renewal of Super Rugby,” Mohammed said.

“For us at Digicel, we’ve always carried Super Rugby as one of our flagship programs or offerings that we have as part of our sports segments.”

Meanwhile, the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua’s first home match next season against Moana Pasifika will be held at Churchill Park in Lautoka on Saturday, February 14 at 3.30pm.
