Three places of worship targeted in Navua

Police are investigating three separate cases of alleged sacrilege reported early this morning in the Navua and Wainadoi areas.

The first incident occurred at the Calia Nauyuwak Ramayan Bhajan Faag Mandali temple along Calia Back Road in Navua. An electric fan was reported stolen from here.

A second case of sacrilege at the Hare Krishna Temple, also along Calia Back Road.

In the third incident, the Wainadoi Markas Mosque was found to have been broken into, with money stolen from the donation box.

Police investigations continue.
