VARANISESE Mole says balancing work and studies may have been challenging, however, support from her husband helped her complete and graduate with a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration and Human Resources Management.
The mother of four was among the 308 students who received their respective certificates during the University of Fiji’s graduation ceremony at its Saweni Campus in Lautoka yesterday.
Ms Mole said she faced her fair share of challenges in the time it took to complete her course.
“I’m working at Aspen Medical and faced challenges, especially looking after my work and trying to finish my assignment on time,” she shared.
“As a mother, I did face many challenges, especially trying to balance my work and my family.
“So, I’m fortunate that I have good support from home, especially my husband, who was looking after the kids at home. I’m also thankful to my current manager, who motivates me to come and further my studies.”
Ms Mole plans to further upgrade her academic qualifications and move higher up the ranks.
Prior to pursuing her current program, Ms Mole graduated from the Fiji National University in 2016 with a Diploma in business economics.
When asked about what advice she could offer to other working mothers hoping to further their studies, Ms Mole said divine intervention had never steered her wrong.
“Nothing is impossible with God, so we must just go forth and trust in the Lord and do good, and my favourite verse is Psalm 37, chapter 3.”
