Students from Daliconi Primary School on Vanua Balavu Island in the Lau Group visited The Fiji Times on Monday as part of a school outing after the Fiji Primary School Tuckers Ice-cream Games.
A total of 34 students and 10 teachers travelled to Suva for the games where they managed to win one gold and 2 bronze medals.
Headteacher and Vanua Balavu Athletics Association president, Maivaga Keteravu said they were heading back to Vanua Balavu last night and spent the remainder of the day sight-seeing around the Capital.
The Fiji Times was one of their stopovers and continued their school outing to FBC and the State House, before leaving for their island home.
