INVESTMENT Fiji has appointed Esther Salem as the new head of Investment and Trade Promotion.
A long-standing member of the Investment Fiji team, Ms Salem began her carrier as an investment facilitation advisor, focused on project management, project liaison, sector development, policy advocacy, research surveys, and monitoring and evaluation.
According to Investment Fiji, she was later promoted to manager Investment Aftercare and Policy Advocacy.
“In her new role as Head of Investment & Trade Promotion, Ms Salem will leverage her expertise and the valuable international exposure gained through overseas training to lead the team in advancing Fiji’s investment growth agenda,” it stated.
“She will play a key role in strengthening Fiji’s position as an attractive destination for investors and driving initiatives that increase both local and foreign investment in the country.
“We are excited to have her on board as we work towards achieving Investment Fiji’s goals!”
Ms Salem holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Management, and Public Administration and brings 17 years of extensive professional experience.
Her appointment takes effect immediately.
