HILTON Fiji Beach Resort and Spa raised $14,331 during their month-long Pinktober campaign in support of the Fiji Cancer Society’s work for cancer patients.

Hilton cluster manager Carey Osborne said the various initiatives organised by their staff showed their commitment to the cause.

“These initiatives truly reflect the heart of our Hilton culture,” she said.

“We are incredibly proud of our team’s passion and our guests’ generosity in supporting this meaningful cause.”

According to the resort, fundraising activities throughout October included a staff Pinktober morning tea bake and sale, a Pink Sunset event that involved in-house and invited guests to an auction of donated items from Tappoo, a Pink T-shirt sales campaign and a walk-a-thon.

“These activities form part of Hilton’s global Travel with Purpose strategy which drives responsible travel and aims to create social and environmental impact in communities where Hilton operates.

“Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa continues to champion community engagement through wellness, sustainability and social responsibility initiatives, reinforcing its commitment to being an iconic host not only in hospitality but also in the spirit of giving back.”
