Asco Motors announced a major milestone as the company received the CPA Australia Certification, celebrating its commitment to excellence in accounting and finance, officially attaining recognition as a CPA Australia Employer Recognised Partner.

CPA Australia, which boasts over 660 members across Fiji, continues to champion the growth and achievements of accountants throughout the region.

The organisation is dedicated to supporting its members and employers alike to advance professional standards and opportunities.

Speaking at the event, CPA Australia Regional head Rick Jones celebrated the recognition as a defining achievement in the company’s long-standing journey of excellence.

“With 175,000 members spread over 100 countries, our 660 members in Fiji represent a vital part of our network,” Mr Jones said.

“Supporting our members and the organisations that employ them is a core priority.”

Mr Jones acknowledged that this year had presented some challenges but shared plans to increase support for CPA members in Fiji.

“To earn recognition as an employer, an organisation must demonstrate strong internal support systems for its staff, especially in accounting and finance.

“While there are fewer than five recognised employers in Fiji currently, this award marks the beginning of a deeper partnership focused on teaching, talent attraction, and workforce upskilling.”

Asco Motors chief executive officer and director Ronald Kumar welcomed the recognition.

“Receiving the CPA Award from such a globally respected institution is a proud moment for us. Supporting workforce development is central to our business, and this acknowledgment encourages us to continue investing in our team’s growth,” Mr Kumar said.

The CPA Australia Certification Award highlights Asco Motors’ dedication to fostering a skilled and supported accounting workforce, setting a standard for others in Fiji to follow.
