A flash flood alert remains in force for the entire Fiji Group as an active trough of low pressure continues to bring widespread cloud, showers and periods of heavy rain over the next few days.
Authorities warn that isolated heavy rain may trigger flash flooding, particularly in areas with poor drainage.
The likely impacts include flooding of small streams, low-water bridges, Irish crossings, roads, and properties in low-lying communities.
Members of the public are urged to remain vigilant, monitor weather updates and avoid flooded roads and crossings.
