The entire Fiji group is under a heavy rain warning as an active trough of low pressure continues to affect the country.
According to the Nadi weather office, the system is bringing extensive cloud cover, showers and periods of rain, which are expected to persist for the next several days.
The forecast is for occasional rain with isolated heavy falls and thunderstorms across most parts of the country.
For tomorrow there will be ccasional to periods of rain, becoming heavy at times with a few thunderstorms.
Authorities warn that the current weather conditions may lead to flash flooding of low-lying and flood-prone communities, informal settlements, businesses and Irish crossings, resulting in traffic disruptions.
