Olympic gold medallist and Castres utility back Vilimoni Botitu will make his much-anticipated return to the FIJI Water Flying Fijians lineup against Spain tomorrow.

Botitu who starts at inside centre, with partner the exciting Sireli Maqala of Bayonne in what promises to be a potent midfield combination.

Head coach Mick Byrne has given reins to the Botitu to spearhead our deadly backline attacks unleashing our deadly back three against the Spanish defence.

“He gives us the opportunity as a star player who can play 10, 12 or 15. He reads the game well he will give some really good information coming from the outside and we really look forward to those combinations.” Bryne explained.

“And with Sireli outside him it’s quite a potent combination for us. We quite excited by what they could bring.”

On the wing Joji Nasova will look to bring his PNC form to Europe, when asked of his expectation from Nasova, Byrne expect his raising star to put on his best efforts.

“Just for what Joji did in the Pacific Nations Cup and we’re expecting that from this weekend, to go out there and do what’s expected from him play the game that we know he can play.” Said Byrne.

“If he does his best he will have a good game.”

The Flying Fijians game against Spain will kick off at 4:00am tomorrow morning at the Estadio de Atletismo Ciudad de Málaga in Spain.
