THE Former Fiji Football Association Operations General Manager and current Bula FC interim CEO Anushil Kumar is set to represent Fiji on the global stage, as a FIFA Match Coordinator for the FIFA Arab Cup 2025 in Qatar, highlighting the nation’s growing presence in football administration.

Kumar will oversee matches at the prestigious Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium during the Qualification Stage and at the innovative Stadium 974 for the Final Stage.

His selection, alongside New Zealand’s Lisa Jones from the Oceania Football Confederation, underscores Oceania’s rising influence in international football.

FFA President Rajesh Patel praised Kumar’s dedication, emphasizing the significance of this achievement for Fijian football administrators.

Kumar expressed gratitude to the OFC and FFA for their support and vowed to perform his duties with pride.
