THE Yaro Chiefs 7s tournament wrapped up at Churchill Park yesterday with thrilling finals across all divisions, showcasing rising talent and fierce competition.
In the men’s category, M.Recht Devo Babas produced a dominant performance to claim the Cup title, defeating Wardens Gold 33-19 in a fast-paced final.
The women’s competition also created history, with Kadavu Stallions Women crowned the inaugural champions after a strong 24-14 victory over Sinukakala Women. Kadavu impressed from the start, maintaining composure as Sinukakala pushed for a comeback late in the match.
In the U21 division, PCM Aflame Brothers delivered a composed and disciplined display to shut out Serevi Select 17-0 and secure the title.
The two-day tournament, featuring tough battles and standout individual performances, ended on a high note with teams showing depth, speed, and determination as the Yaro Chiefs 7s marked a successful edition for players and fans alike.
